Coca-Cola Life was a Coke, sweetened with cane sugar and stevia leaf extract.
Launched in October 2014, Coca-Cola Life was developed to meet strong consumer demand for a great-tasting, reduced-calorie beverage sweetened with cane sugar and stevia. After success in South American markets, Coke rolled out Coke Life to the global market. "Due to the success of lead markets in 2016, Coke Life® will replicate this approach in close to 60% of the nation in 2017. In addition, it will be fully integrated in all Coca-Cola Trademark programs. "
Marketing for Coca-Cola Life targeting millennial consumers included trying to "Be the mainstream choice of great Coke taste with alternative sweeteners. The primary benefit being sweetened with cane sugar and stevia leaf extract. The secondary and bonus benefit is 35% fewer calories than leading colas. " And further saying millennial's shopping choices are “No longer just about calories, people care more and more about the ingredients in their food and beverages," (Dig more into coca-cola market insights here).
By 2017 Coca-Cola Life was one of more than 45 beverages in The Coca-Cola Company’s global portfolio currently sweetened in whole or in part with stevia leaf extract (others included vitaminwater zero, Honest Tea, and Odwalla).
Coca-Cola Life was (maybe is in some areas) available in a few different sizes and design styles. Including classic coke shaped glass bottles, 20oz and 2L plastic bottles, and 12oz cans in slim and regular forms with varying designs from full green to partially Life product green swooshes and designs.

What to say, it's discontinued just about everywhere, so probably pointless. Despite what people claim they want, this split the difference in various ways that clearly missed the mark for a lot of people. If you want a "real sugar" coke, get one. You should know what you're signing up for and the amount of calories in it. If you want a "diet" or similar low sugar soda, you get the zero sugar diet coke. Flavor wise they are both good. Coca-Cola Life was too sweet and sugary for people wanting a diet soda, and too fake sugar hippie green for people wanting the full "Mexican coke" with cane sugar. Somewhere under 5g of sugar would probably have convinced more people. But at 90 calories it's a non-starter. The Life and shades of green branding also makes you have to learn what it is before knowing anything. I would have assumed organic and/or lime. Which is obviously no where near what Coca-Cola Life actually was. ...now on to check out Pepsi True.
