Campa Cola is a well-known soft drink brand in India renowned for its delicious and refreshing range of beverages. The brand has a long-standing history that goes back to the 1970s when it was first introduced to the Indian market. This introduction happened because of a change in Indian government policies in 1977 required Coca-Cola to dilute its equity stake in its Indian firms and also reveal the "secret formula" of its concentrate to them. Not wanting to give away trade secrets, Coca-Cola left India. Coca-Cola's main bottling partner in India took the legislated opportunity to continue producing this similar Campa cola product.
"Campa tasted good - because we didn't have any other options," The New York Times columnist Santosh Desai.

Campa remained popular in the late 1970s, 80s, and early 90's, but filed just as quickly in the 1990's when new more liberal economic laws were passed. The soft drink brand shut down its bottling plants in Delhi in the 2000s and the drink disappeared from shops and stalls.
In 2022, Campa Cola was acquired by Reliance Industries for ₹22 crores (about $2.6mm). Reliance Retail Ventures, the retail arm of the Reliance group launched three variants of the drinks (cola, orange and lemon) at some select stores.
